DMCA Notice Procedure

At Nevada PDFs, we respect intellectual property rights and are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Our dedicated process is designed to address and resolve any complaints about copyright infringement on our site swiftly. If you believe that your work has been used in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, or if your intellectual property rights have been otherwise violated, please notify us through the procedure outlined below.

Notification of Infringement

To file a notice of infringement with us, you must provide a written communication that includes the following:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright or other intellectual property interest.
  • A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on our site, with enough detail to allow us to locate the material.
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright or the owner of the intellectual property interest involved.

Send your Notice

Once your written notification has been prepared, it should be sent to our designated agent as follows:

Procedure after Notice is Received

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, Nevada PDFs will promptly investigate the complaint and take appropriate action, which includes removing or disabling access to the infringing material. We will also take steps to notify the individual or entity who posted the allegedly infringing content, allowing for them to respond with a counter-notification if they believe the claim is without merit.

Counter-Notification

If you receive a notification from Nevada PDFs that material made available by you on or through our website has been subject to a complaint, you may submit a counter-notification. This counter-notification must include the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • A description of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement by you under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Nevada PDFs may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the initial notice of infringement or an agent of such a person.

Please note, there can be substantial penalties for false claims under the DMCA. Nevada PDFs encourages the consideration of all legal and factual elements before submitting a notice or counter-notification.
